Here you'll find details of our recommended enthusiasts clubs.. www.lots.org.uk - LOTS, is THE organisation to be a member of if you want to know what is going on in the world of buses in London. Check their site for sample info and membership details - it won't break the bank! www.southdownenthusiastsclub.org.uk - Southdown Enthusiasts Club - Covering the major bus operators in East and West Sussex, Hampshire and East Kent.. www.devongeneral.org.uk - Devon General Society... Covering Stagecoach Devon, but also brief news of other operators in Devon, and those who come in to Devon from Cornwall and Dorset http://website.lineone.net/~mdekbusclub/ - Maidstone & District and East Kent Bus Club - Covering what is now Arriva Kent & Sussex, Stahecoach East Kent, and the Hastings are of Stagecoach South Coast. www.bhammond.force9.co.uk - FirstGroup Enthusiasts - Seemingly the only enthusiasts club for a number of First companies, though the web site has not been updated for quite a while.. it does have their address to join etc on it though.. Their bi-monthly magazine includes small sections on all First Group operations in the UK www.michaeltaylor.ca/esos - East Sussex Omnibus Society - covering Eastbourne, Brighton and the former Southdown area in ... surprisingly East Sussex! I know of no clubs for enthusiasts which cover Wilts and Dorset or the Isle
Of Wight, or Western National and Southern National etc (apart
from the First Group who touch on the First companies of course) - do you know
different? |
